SABMiller India appoints Paolo Lanzarotti as Managing Director

Beer major SABMiller today announced the appointment of Paolo Lanzarotti as the managing director for the company's business in India.
"Paolo Lanzarotti has taken over from Jean-Mark Delpon de Vaux who was previously heading company's operation in India," SABMiller India said in a statement.
Prior to this appointment, Paolo was working as managing director of SABMiller's operation in Slovakia.
Paolo's key responsibilities will include overseeing the group's operations, expansion and growth in the country and working towards building the SABMiller brands in diverse and challenging Indian market, the company said.
"Indian markets are in a very important stage of evolution ... Our experience internationally coupled with the passion and talent within our local business can be leveraged to continue the drive for focused growth for SABMiller India," SABMiller India managing director Paolo Lanzarotti said.
SABMiller India is the Indian arm of world's largest brewer SABMiller plc.
