The National University of Cambodia (NCU) has conferred the honorary doctorate degree on A Samanta, founder of the city-based KIIT Group of Institutions.

Samanta received the award from Haruhisa Handa, chancellor, University of Cambodia at a ceremony held at the University of Cambodia in Phnom Penh in the presence of Cambodia's deputy PM and Kao Kim Hourn, president, NCU.
