| SAP India and its education partner Kauf Solutions India have launched a state-of-the-art e-learning centre for training in SAP modules in Mysore.

| Mysore has hence become the eighth city in the country to have a SAP Solution Academy. SAP is the world’s leading enterprise management software. It has a major marketshare in ERP, CRM and SCM softwares.

| The SAP industry solutions support the business process of over 25 industry verticals including retail, public sector, healthcare and financial services. It has over 12 million users and it is the world’s third largest independent software supplier.

| “The Mysore centre will have 25 seats initially and we plan to scale it up to 50 by July as we see a good potential here,” Kauf India Solutions Director T R Kaushik says.

| “Mysore has been chosen because of its highly educated populace. It has a number of engineering colleges turning out some of the best engineers. Most industries implementing SAP are setting up shop in Mysore. Hence, we see a growing demand for SAP consultants in Mysore too," he said.

| With the growing demand for SAP professionals, Kauf India Solutions, which has partnered SAP in creating SAP professionals, plans to open 10 more centres. In the Mysore centre, the courses in greatest demand are being introduced. Other programmes will follow to support the IT industries coming to Mysore.

| Kaushik said that there is a huge gap between employability and skilled professionals in SAP solutions. Its own industries implementing SAP require 500 professionals. The requirement is for 15,000 professionals per annum.
