Hyderabad-based Satyam Computer Services Limited, a global consulting and information technology services provider, and GE Healthcare have joined hands to support customers deploying healthcare solutions based on GE Centricity Enterprise Software. The companies would join forces to plan, design and implement infrastructure for healthcare providers including small polyclinics. They would integrate applications and tailor solutions.
Satyam would start enrolling consultants in new GE Healthcare certification exam programmes for Centricity Enterprise Software from the fourth quarter of 2008. "The new agreement and investment by both the companies would accelerate the adoption of healthcare IT solutions by the customers,'' said Laurent Rotival, senior vice-president, GE Healthcare Enterprise Solutions.
Satyam would customise the healthcare IT systems and extend them to the hospitals, Prasad Dindigal, vice-president and global head (Healthcare), Satyam, stated in a release. |
