| Sensex ends up 95pts |

The Sensex has ended (provisional) at 16,029, up 95 points. The NSE Nifty has closed (provisional) at 4,786, up 26 points.

The Sensex is now up 124 points at 16,060.
The Nifty is up 38 points at 4,799.
The BSE IT index has gained 2.% at 4,966. The PSU index is up as well. However, the realty index has dropped 1% in trades.
Cement and IT stocks have continued their upward movement. Grasim has rallied 4% to Rs 2,654. ACC has added 2.2% to Rs 861.
Infosys and Wipro have gained 2.5% each at Rs 2,464 and Rs 652, respectively. TCS is up 1.3% at Rs 734.
Sun Pharma has advanced 2.2% to Rs 1,542. Hero Honda has moved up 2% to Rs 1,613.
Bharti Airtel, Sterliet and Tata Power have added 1-2% each.
Howver DLF has extended losses and dropped 2% to Rs 305. Hindustan Unilever has shed 1% at Rs 233.
Hindalco and Maruti Suzuki have slipped around 1% each to Rs 135 and Rs 1,354, respectively.
