| Sensex extends losses, down 290pts |

The BSE Sensex is now at 15,631, down 290 points. The NSE Nifty is now at 4,645, down 86 points.

The Sensex comtinues to languish at low levels and is now down 234 points at 15,689.
The Nifty is down 70 points at 4,663.

The BSE Sensex has touched a low of 15,665, down 257 points.
The Sensex is still languishing in the red and is now 15,704, down 218 points. The NSE Nifty is now at 4,665, down 67 points.
The BSE IT index led the decline with a decrease of over 2% to 4,172.
TCS has slipped nearly 3% to Rs 524. Sterlite, Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco have shed 2.5% each to Rs 676, Rs 1,572 and Rs 106, respectively.
Infosys and Wipro also declined 2.5% each to Rs 2,132 and Rs 550, respectively.
Tata Power has shed over 2% to Rs 1,309.
ITC, Sun Pharma, Relaince, ICICI Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Steel and SBI are down 1-2% each.
The market breadth is positive -out of 2,653 stocks, 1,474 have advanced and 1,096 have delicend so far.
