| Sensex firm; ICICI Bank rallies 5% |

The BSE Sensex is at 15,355, up 335 points now. The NSE Nifty is now at 4,558, up 100 points.

The Sensex is firm and is exhibiting sideways movement for quite some time now. The index is now at 15,413, up 393 points.
All the sectoral indices are in the green and the realty and metal indices are leading the rally.
ICICI Bank and Hindalco have surged 4.5% each to Rs 744 and Rs 108, respectively.
Maruti Suzuki, Sterlite and Tata Steel have rallied 4% each to Rs 1,343, Rs 649 and Rs 461, respectively.
Larsen & Toubro, DLF, SBI and Jaiprakash Associates have gained over 3.5% each at Rs 1,476, Rs 387, Rs 1,763 and Rs 222, respectively.
Among the Nifty stocks, HCL Technologies and Tata Communications have soared over 5% each to Rs 276 and Rs 487, respectively.
The NSE Nifty is now at 4,575, up 118 points.
The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,616 stocks, 2,063 have advanced and 473 have declined so far.
