| Sensex flat; IT stocks surge |

The Sensex is showing volatile movements and has once again slipped into the red. The index is now down 25 points at 15,135.
The Nifty is down 10 points at 4,471.

The Sensex has rebounded again after a brief slip into the red. The index is now up 12 points at 15,172.
The Nifty is up five points at 4,486.
Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped further to Rs 765 - down 8%. ACC has plunged 4% to Rs 830.
Hindustan Unilever and Hero Honda have slipped 3.5% each to Rs 261 and Rs 1,430, respectively.
ITC and Maruti Suzuki have declined 2.5% each to Rs 223 and Rs 1,257, respectively.
Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, Grasim, HDFC and ICICI Bank are also down around 1$% each.
On the other hand, ITC stocks have surged. TCS has soared 7.5% to Rs 546. Wipro and Infosys have gained 3.5% each to Rs 517 and Rs 2,110, respectively.
Tata Power and Hindalco have added 3% each. ONGC, Reliance Infrastructure and Tata Steel are up marginally.
Aming the other Nifty stocks, Ambuja Cements has dropped 4% to Rs 101. BPCL, Power Grid Corporation and Jindal Steel have declined marginally.
On the other hand, Axis Bank, Cipla, Idea Cellular and Cairn India are up 1-3% each.
The market breadth is fairly negative. Out of 2,640 stocks traded 1,550 have declined while 1,018 have advanced.
