The Sensex is highly volatile today. The index is now at 14,175 - up 132 points.

The BSE FMCG and Auto indices are teh biggest gainers today. While the former has added 4.3% to 2,412, the latter is up over 3% at 4,606.

Grasim and Hero Honda have added around 4.5% each to Rs 2,410 and Rs 1,415, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel and Larsen & Toubro have moved up 3-4% each.

Reliance and ONGC have slipped over 2% to Rs 1,849 and Rs 1,048, respectively.

Reliance Communications and Tata Motors are down 1.5% each.

The market breadth is fairly negative Out of 2,348 stocks traded, 1,512 have declined while 767 have advanced.
