The Sensex has slipped again after a brief recovery. The index is now down 12 points at 15,757.
The Nifty is down two poinst at 4,678.
Tata Steel has dropped 2% to Rs 541. Hindustan Unilever has slipped 1.5% to Rs 259.
HDFC, Jaiprakash Associates, Hero Honda and Hindalco have dropped around 1% each.
Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel and Wipro have added 2.3% each to Rs 415 and Rs 570, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra, ACC, Sun Pharma and Maruti Suzuki are up 1% each.
The market breadth is fairly positive. out of 2,368 stocks traded, 1,592 have advanced while 716 have declined.
