The Sensex is now at 15,017, up 232 points.
Hindalco has advanced 4% to Rs 105. Larsen & Toubro, Jaiprakash Associates have soared over 3% each to Rs 1,461 and Rs 209, respectively.
Hero Honda, TCS, Grasim and Infosys are the marginal losers.
The market breadth is positive, out of 2,615 shares traded, 1,610 have advanced and 921 have declined so far on the BSE.
The NSE Nifty is at 4,455, up 67 points.
