The Sensex has slipped to a low of 16,204 and is now weak at 16,208, down 47 points. The NSE Nifty is at 4,844, down 14 points.

Among the Sensex 30-stocks Larsen & Toubro and Mahindra & Mahindra have added 1% each to Rs 1,517 and Rs 965, respectively.

Hindalco, HDFC, Bharti Airtel and Infosys are up 0.5% each at Rs 156, Rs 277 and Rs 2,584, respectively.

Tata Motors and HUL are down 2% each at Rs 673 and Rs 237, respectively. Hero Honda, Sun Pharma, Grasim and Sterlite Industries have declined over 1% each.

The market breadth is marginally positive, out of 2,281 shares traded, 1,140 have advanced and 1,053 have declined so far on the BSE.

Among the sectoral indices, FMCG, auto and oil & gas declined over 0.5% each.
