The Sensex has moved back into green and is now up 30 points at 9,045. Rarlier, the index touched a high of 9,112 in opening trades.

Wipro has soared 5% to Rs 220. Grasim has surged over 2.5% to Rs 1,376.

Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Infrastructure have gained nearly 2% each at Rs 290 and Rs 510, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Sterlite and NTPC are up 1.3% each at Rs 208, Rs 258 and Rs 179, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has shed 2% at Rs 249. Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco have dropped 1.3% each to Rs 645 and Rs 41, respectively.

ICICI Bank is down 1% at Rs 365.

The market breadth is margially negative - out of 2,276 stocks traded so far, 1,103 have declined, 1,077 have advanced and 96 are unchanged.
