| SMSLive launches its new mobile-based application |

SMSLive, a Kolkata-based IT company, which focuses on mobile phone software for transmission of content, has developed a simple application that would enable customers to use their handsets for ordering Subway sandwiches from anywhere in the city. This application can be transferred to mobile phones by simply sending a message to 98300 62000.
Speaking at the launch of the service in Kolkata, Ankur Banerjee , CEO, SMSLive said, "This is going to be a sure hit, because the customer won't have to do anything but type a message, the message will be delivered to the Subway outlet of choice with all the specifications mentioned therein. The customer would then receive a call from the Subway outlet, taking his personal information and delivering his order at his doorstep.
The product was test run in several outlets for the last few months before being formally launched. Designed to work on most Java enabled phones, the software is transferable OTA (over the air) and can be distributed freely.
SMSlive has developed and installed the application to enable the system to accept the messages from the customers in all the 4 outlets in Kolkata that deliver at home. The hardware setup and the environment has also been created by the company at the different Subway stations. The company proposes to roll out this unique facility in all Subway outlets in India within the next few months.
