Sonata Software has launched Sonnet Qcheck Test Consulting Services. Based on the Test Maturity Model (TMM), Sonnet Qcheck enables organisations to mitigate testing challenges, improve testing efficiencies and reduce overall cost of operations.
Sonnet Qcheck is a fixed price and fixed scope consulting offering that usually precedes an extensive Managed Testing Services engagement for the customer. It is built upon Sonata’s A3 (Assess - Advice - Act) methodology that delivers to the client a roadmap and approach to deploy Sonata’s proven Managed Testing Services. At the end of Sonnet Qcheck, the customer gets a clear visibility into the test process, resources, tools utilisation and optimisation, and cost and time implications.
During the “Assessment” stage, Sonata’s Sonnet Qcheck Team does a comprehensive study and review of the organisations’ existing environment, processes, tools and licenses deployed, and the potential for bringing in efficiencies.
In the “Advice” stage, the team maps the existing approach to the TMM Model, identifies gaps, and recommends measures to enhance the approach. This could include refining the processes, establishing centralised test management systems, and providing tools and techniques for improving overall setup.
As part of the final “Act” stage, the Sonnet Qcheck team delivers sample proof of concepts (PoCs) to validate the benefits of Managed Testing, measure results and focus on delivering early RoI for the engagement.
