Software solutions firm Sonata Software Ltd has launched enablement services for applications on the Oracle platform for Software as a Service (SaaS), a company statement said today.

As part of this initiative, Sonata would enable independent software vendors (ISV) and enterprises with custom applications to migrate their applications to the Oracle platform for SaaS.

According to Aniruddha Banerjee, Head-Technology Business, Sonata Software, "customers today are looking at getting higher Return on Investment (RoI) within a short period of time. By migrating applications to the Oracle platform for SaaS, Sonata helps product companies significantly cut time-to-market and production costs."
