Standard Chartered launches Howzzaat !!!
A savings account packed with the excitement of Cricket

Standard Chartered Bank, India’s largest international bank, has launched the Howzzaat !!! Savings account. Howzzaat !!! makes banking easy and fun as it packs the excitement of cricket, with exciting goodies and opportunities to meet your favourite cricket superstars.

Howzzaat !!! was launched by Shyam Shrinivasan, Head of Consumer Banking, Standard Chartered Bank, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, and cricketer Virender Sehwag.

Shyam Srinivasan, Head of Consumer Banking, Standard Chartered Bank said, “The Standard Chartered Howzzaat !!! account helps you manage your day to day banking effectively while pursuing your passion for cricket. Customers can win exciting cricket goodies on every transaction made on the account. The intent is to enhance the customer’s experience by making banking fun.”

CDK Sai Narain, General Manager, Transaction Banking, Marketing & Business Intelligence said, “Customers will enjoy the Howzzaat!!! experience. They earn runs on each transaction they perform on the account. A debit card spend of Rs. 100 can earn them 1 run, while registering for mobile banking & online banking, will earn them 50 & 100 runs respectively. On days when India has won an international cricket match, the customer scores triple the runs on debit card spends. The runs can be exchanged for tickets to matches in India, passes for cricket melas where cricket stars are in attendance, or exchange them for cricket merchandise or cricket gear from Nike.” 

The Howzzaat!!! account features a free Titanium debit card with a cricket face,  free multicity cheque book, any branch banking at 90 branches across 33 cities in India, free online banking, mobile banking and 24-hour phone banking.
