Sun Pharma finally ended marginally down at Rs 1,184. The counter saw trades of around 38,000 shares as against its two-week average trades of 31,295 shares.

The stock opened at Rs 1,188 and slipped 3% to a low of Rs 1,150. It is now trading with a 2.7% loss at Rs 1,155. The stock has lost 5.5% in the past week itself. Over 9,152 shares have been traded on the BSE so far.
The company's US arm, Caraco, has already been facing regulatory issues in the US. Now more law firms have initiated class action suits against the company.The law suits include one which alleges that the company failed to disclose problems in complying with certain US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and misrepresented or failed to disclose material information relating to its efforts to obtain FDA approval for some of its drugs.
