The stock surged to a high of Rs 89 - up over 2% from the previous close. However, it slipped 4.5% from the day's high to a low of Rs 85. The stock ended with a loss of 2% near the day's low at Rs 85. Over 7.13 million shares were traded on the counter today.

The wind turbine major Suzlon has surged by Rs 1.7 or 1.9% to Rs 88 on the back of a repeat order of about Rs 350 crore from Ayen Enerji of Turkey.
Suzlon Energy will supply 27 units of Suzlon S88 – 2.1 Mw turbines for the Seferihisar and Mordogan projects in eastern Turkey.
