Suzuki launches hyper sports bike in India

Japanese two-wheeler major Suzuki today launched its two hyper sports bikes — Hayabusa and Intruder M1800R — in India, both priced at Rs 12.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Hayabusa would be powered with a 1,340 cc engine, while Intruder would be available with a 1,783 cc V-twin engine.     

"This launch is very significant when we are globally surrounded by uncertainties... Suzuki has been delivering superior technology, which has been proven world-wide. We intend to showcase the same in India," Suzuki Motorcycle India Vice-President (Sales & Marketing) Atul Gupta told reporters here.     

The bikes will be available in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
