Swine flu effect: Ajanta Pharma gains on vaccine talks

Ajanta Pharma advanced over 1% to 88. The couter clocked a heavy volume of 23,339 shares as against its two-week average traded quantity of 9,896 shares.

The stock opened at Rs 90.50 and slipped to a low of Rs 89.30. It is now up 3.4% at Rs 90. The counter has clocked comparatively heavy volumes of 10,321 shares on the BSE as against the two-week daily average trade of 9,896 shares.
The company has signed a MOU with the Canadian company under which the parties will evaluate and select an optimal deal structure, with the objective of formalising a definitive agreement within 90 days.
