Timex gets product licence of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

Watch maker Timex Group India today said it has got the licence from the International Cricket Council for launching a product using the logo of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
The company, which today introduced a new range of watches under 'Statement Series', said it would launch special edition watches with the ICC logo for Cricket World Cup 2011, to be held in the Indian subcontinent.
"The ICC cricket World Cup 2011 is the most anticipated cricket event in the world and it gives me immense pleasure to announce Timex association with this high profile event," Kapil Kapoor, vice chairman of TGIL board, said.
The company, however, declined to divulge financial details of the licensing deal.
Kapoor said in another initiative Timex brand ambassador and Australian cricketer Brett Lee will choose his favourite eleven players who have played the World Cup and will present them with special edition watches during the upcoming series.
The Statement Series which Lee unveiled today will have a collection of six watches.
