Global technology solutions provider Titan Corporation, through its subsidiary Sakon, has acquired a controlling stake in Gateway Systems, a class A Indian ISP.

| Titan aims to capitalise on the demand for state-of-the-art broadband data services in the country and the acquisition of Gateway would give it exclusive radio spectrum in the 10.5 GHz band covering most of India’s strategic markets including Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore.

Gateway is active in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Pune with over 125 corporate customers in these cities. The company is planning to roll out its services in Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata in the near future, a company release said here today.

The company provides internet and Virtual Private Network services to its corporate clients and provides them with a reliable, quickly deployable service with ability to augment broadband capacity on demand, the release claimed.
