| Toonz's Wolverine, X-Men series set for early Season 2 |

Toonz Entertainment Pte Ltimited, the Singapore-based parent of Toonz Animation India, and Marvel Animation is set to kick off an early season for their animated television series Wolverine and the X-Men. The production of Season 2 will be undertaken at the Toonz Studio in Technopark.
Thiruvananthapuram-based Toonz Animation, in association with First Serve International, had produced the Season 1 of the series.
The early start to the season comes close on the heels of the launch of Season 1 in Latin America, Canada and Italy.
“The Wolverine and the X-Men animated series is set to continue its success as it expands to other international territories including the UK on BBC and the US in January 2009 through the Nicktoons Network, Nickelodeon’s 24-hour animation channel. The action, adventure and drama will continue with 26 more half-hour episodes already in preproduction,” a Toonz official said.
The team ,which produced the first season, will work on the second season too.
Most of the Toonz creations that get screened in the US and Europe are made at its Technopark studio, where over 500 artists work.
