TV Today Network, Jyothy Lab's & Wockhardt Q1 result

TV Today Network Q1 net up 81 pc
Media house TV Today Network reported an 81.46 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 16.64 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, over the same period last year. Total income increased to Rs 71.04 crore in the latest quarter, against Rs 64.13 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
Wockhardt in red on MTM losses
Drug major Wockhardt has posted a net loss of Rs 189.9 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, mostly on account of mark-to-market (MTM) losses of Rs 255.3 crore. The company had recorded a Rs 105.87-crore net profit in the corresponding period in the previous year.
Jyothy Lab’s net up 22%
Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company Jyothy Laboratories registered a consolidated net profit increase of 22 per cent per cent for the quarter ended June 30 at Rs 21.9 crore, compared with Rs 18 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The revenue for the first quarter also increased by 21 per cent to Rs 120 crore, as compared with Rs 99 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
