Ujjivan Financial Services Ranked No.1 among the 'Best Companies to Work for in India' in the Microfinance Industry
Ranked amongst the Top 15 India?s Best Companies to Work For 2011

Bangalore, India: Ujjivan Financial Services, a leading microfinance institution ranked Number 1 for the second time, as the Best Company to Work for in the Microfinance Industry, in the 2011 “India’s Best Companies to Work for” Survey. Ujjivan was ranked amongst the Top 15 Best Companies to Work for, in the country.

The 2011 survey was conducted based on best practices and employee feedback by the Great Place to Work® Institute (India), in collaboration with The Economic Times, across companies in India, spanning various sectors and sizes, and including domestic players as well as MNCs. More than 500 companies signed up for this year's survey, of which 471 met the strict eligibility criteria. A total of 67,000 employees across 20 sectors went on to participate. The results give a first-hand feel of workplace culture from an employee perspective

For the top ranked companies in the survey were chosen based on flexible criteria’s working hours, fun at work, systematic career development, work life balance.

The credit for this distinction goes to our outstanding employees and our respectful customers”.

The survey evaluated and compared organizations on various work place related parameters like credibility of leadership, respect for individuality and contribution, fairness and transparency in all practices and processes, camaraderie and a sense of belonging. First hand information was acquired from employees and the leadership team alike; organizations that passed through stringent evaluation criteria secured their position in the coveted list.
