US markets rallied on Friday to end at new highs of the year as home sales data jumped. Investors geared up for a more opimistic outlook of the economic recovery.
The Dow gained 156 points (1.6%) to a nine-month high of 9,506. The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 both reaxched their highest in 10-months. While the former climbed 32 points (1.5%) to 2,021, the latter added 19 points (1.8%) to 1,026.
