US stocks ended higher for a fourth straight day on Wednesday as industrial and technology companies gained from a weak dollar.

The Dow Jones industrial average was up 50 points (0.53%) at 9,547.The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 23 points (1.11%) at 2,060.

The Indian ADRs ended on a strong note. Mahindra Satyam surged 4% to $6.77. ICICI Bank advanced 3.5% to $33.93.

Tata Communications was up 1% at $20.36.

Genpact slipped 1.5% to $12.01. Sterlite and Patni Computers were down 0.5% each.
