Media and Entertainment Group UTV Software Communications today reported a 35 per cent growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 40.57 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009.

Total revenues rose to Rs 220.72 crore in the quarter ended December 31, from Rs 160.19 crore in the same period previous fiscal, UTV Software Communications said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
