US-based software solutions provider Epicor Software Corporation today said it has appointed Vineet Fogat as Country Manager for India.

Fogat has over 15 years of experience and will spearhead sales and channel development across India, the company said in a statement.

"India is an important market for Epicor because of its potential for growth, which when combined with our enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems will make India a formidable manufacturing and distribution hub," Epicor Senior Vice-President (Europe, West Asia and Africa) Roy Shooter said in the statement.

Epicor Software Corporation provides business software solutions to the manufacturing, distribution, retail and services industries and has more than 20,000 customers in over 150 countries.
