In the age of touch-screen phones, Raghav Modi, CEO of PetSetGo, is a fan of user-friendly gadgets. He seems more keen to invent a time machine, and acquiring a MacBook Air.

Have you ever bought a gizmo that you later regretted spending money on?
I have always been a gizmo buff and, fortunately, I have never made a bad purchase. I only buy user-friendly gadgets that I usually play around with to figure out. My investments have always been rewarding.

Is there a gadget you have been waiting to buy?
The next gadget I am planning to buy is an Apple MacBook. It is ultra-thin and portable, unlike anything else. It has a bigger hard drive, 4x graphics performance and more power for everyday tasks along with mobile computing.

Which gizmo do you think is highly overrated?
I think all touch-screen phones are overrated.

Has a gizmo worked as a great stress-buster?
My greatest stress-buster is my BlackBerry 8900 Curve. It gives me everything I need to stay connected and entertained. It has a positive impact on my life — mobile computing, mobile banking... It is the thinnest and lightest BlackBerry model so far, weighing 109.9 gm.

Which gadget has proved to be a lifesaver?
My portable iPod digital music player proves to be a lifesaver so many times. I usually need to travel a lot on work. I have a lot of movies and all kinds of music stored in my iPod.

Name a gadget that would be a better companion than an iPod.
For a businessman, I think that the best companion is his laptop. I carry my Toshiba laptop everywhere with me, and my important work is never delayed.

Which gizmo would you have liked to invent?
If it were in my hands, I would invent a time machine because time is the most valuable asset in one’s life. I would freeze all precious moments. I would also like to go back in time and see how things were invented.

Name a gizmo that has been helpful, apart from your cellphone?
Apart from my BlackBerry, my Sony Cyber Shot Digital camera has been of great help.
