West Coast Paper Mills & McNally Bharat Q2 results

The West Coast Paper Mills has posted a marginal 1.28 per cent rise in net profit after tax at Rs 23.20 crore for the quarter ended September 2009, against Rs 22.90 crore in the same period last financial year. The net sales of the company in the quarter under consideration was nearly Rs 169 crore, against about Rs 162 crore in the corresponding period last year, registering a rise of about 4 per cent.
McNally Bharat Engineering has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 3.60 crore for the quarter ended September 2009, against Rs 3.20 crore in the same period last financial year, a rise of about 12 per cent. The total income of the company in the quarter under consideration was Rs 305.48 crore, against 178.38 crore in the same period last financial year.
