Someone wanted details of the losses Air India had made by terminating deals like the Caribjet one, the details of the salaries/perks paid to Air India’s top brass and so applied for this information under the Right to Information (RTI) Act. He’s got a letter, written by the company’s General Manager (Finance) saying it had not been possible to get the information, so would the petitioner please appeal to J Bhargava, Air India’s Executive Director — Bhargava is also the Appellate Authority for Air India under the RTI Act. Here’s hoping Bhargava will be able to collect the information.
