| Sify has teamed up with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) and IMG/TWI to provide Wimbledon 2005 tennis action on video to broadband users in India through their broadband enabled portal www.sifymax.in.

| The video clips service, which will cover this year’s tournament between June 20 and July 4, is being produced by TWI’s interactive division exclusively for sifymax.in.

| The service will include live content on multi-court audio commentary, daily round-up, interviews of players and individual match highlights.

| In addition, the site contains archived content like the 2004 championships round-up, golden moments, full-length classic matches including the 2004 men’s and lady’s finals, behind-the-scenes programming, live data feed for scoring and statistics of the full tournament.

| Ravi Krishnan, managing director (South Asia) of IMG/TWI and senior vice-president of IMG, said, “This is in line with our commitment to extend brand Wimbledon beyond its existing format without losing the focus of aggregating relevant newer audiences. Sifymax will help us take Wimbledon 2005 to the fast growing base of broadband Internet users from home and cyber cafes in India and to capture new audiences outside the realm of traditional TV viewing.”
