Yahoo! India to hold Open Hack day

Yahoo! India’s R&D division will hold the second edition of Open Hack Day India on February 14 and February 15 in Bangalore. David Filo, co-founder and chief, Yahoo!, will kick off the 2nd Open Hack Day India. This is the 5th Open Hack Day being organised by Yahoo! worldwide.

Since the inaugural event held in Sunnyvale, California, in 2006, Yahoo! has taken it globally to London, Taiwan and for the second time in Bangalore. Hack Days started as an internal event that brought Yahoo! developers together and expanded into regular events in offices around the globe.

The two-day event will commence with a developer workshop with sessions led by Yahoo executives and progress to an overnight Hack Camp.
