Haryana to set up farmers' commission14-NOV-09
The Haryana government today decided to set up a farmers’ commission within three months to safeguard the interests of the farming community and also to enhance the financial incentive admissible under Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Vivah Shagun Yojana from Rs 15,000 to Rs 31,000 with effect from November 19, which happens to be the birthday of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Era Infra to construct permanent township at Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project22-MAY-09
Era Infra Engineering Ltd. (BSE script code: 530323 and Script ID: ERAINFRA), through its construction and contracts division, today announced that it has secured another contract worth Rs 117.84 cr from Aravali Power Company Private Limited (a JV between NTPC, HPGCL and IPGCL) to construct a permanent township at the Indira Gandhi Super Thermal Power Project, Jhajjar. The cost is excluding the cost of cement and steel. The project work will be completed within 24 calendar months from the issue of letter of award.
