BEML net up 45%; order book at Rs 5,036 cr09-JUL-09
BEML, the mining and construction, defence, rail and metro coach manufacturer under the ministry of defence, today reported a healthy 45.1 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 172 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2009 compared to the corresponding quarter last year. The rise was mainly on account of a 75 per cent rise in orders for rail and metro coaches.
Moser Baer India FY'09 net loss at Rs 150.86 cr09-JUL-09
Optical storage manufacturer Moser Baer India today reported a net loss of Rs 150.86 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009.      It had a net loss of Rs 78.91 crore in the corresponding period ended March 2008.      Net sales of the company rose to Rs 2,289.45 crore for the year ended 2009, against Rs 1,964.02 crore in the same period last year, Moser Baer India said in a filing to the Bombay Stock
FTIL posts 113% rise in net profit02-JUL-09
Financial Technologies India Ltd (FTIL), the promoter of India’s largest commodity exchange the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), has posted 77.39 per cent in decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 194.62 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2009 as compared to Rs 860.87 crore in the previous year. The company attributed the fall in net profit to huge investment in its subsidiaries.
