The West Coast Paper Mills has posted a marginal 1.28 per cent rise in net profit after tax at Rs 23.20 crore for the quarter ended September 2009, against Rs 22.90 crore in the same period last financial year. The net sales of the company in the quarter under consideration was nearly Rs 169 crore, against about Rs 162 crore in the corresponding period last year, registering a rise of about 4 per cent.

Engineering firm McNally Bharat said it has sold two per cent stake in its arm McNalli Sayaji Engineering to Mauritius based investor EIG. The company sold 148,598 shares for a total consideration of Rs 1.4 8 million, the compay said.
