The Nifty had completed its technical formality on Friday by closing above the resistance levels of 5,060 to keep the current bull-run moving. The index however expected to face resistance above the 5,100 levels next week. The SGX Nifty futures was down by over 50 points over the official close of 5,077 in the over the counter (OTC) session on Friday. The US and European markets closed more or less in a Doji pattern indicating indecisiveness among participants. If this weakness continues then we may see the gap down opening for the Nifty on Monday.
3G spectrum winners can use it only after June21-NOV-09
The ambiguity over availability of 3G (third generation) telecom spectrum would end soon, as the ministry of defence has agreed to release 25 MHz of 3G spectrum before December 8, paving the way for auctioning of all the four slots in every circle simultaneously. But, the successful bidders in the auction would be able to utilise the spectrum only after June 2010, despite the auction process happening on schedule in January.

He refused to make any comment and then turned towards Raja and said, “Nobody should talk to the press about this meeting.” Even before Mukherjee could finish, Raja waved his hands and said, “Sir, I am not saying anything. I am not saying anything.” A few days ago, Mukherjee had summoned Raja and told him not to talk to the press about the 3G issue and to ensure that no inter-ministerial communication related to the 3G auction was leaked from his office — letters from Mukherjee to Raja and vice versa have all been leaked to the press in recent weeks.
