Golden Chariot, the luxury train run by Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation has seen a rush of corporates as KSTDC has launched a sales blitzkrieg to woo them with an attractive three-day package.
The state-owned Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), in an effort to attract high-end travellers from India and abroad, is developing ‘golf tourism’ packages. It intends to launch a new tourism circuit for avid golfers in the next couple of months. For a start, the corporation will promote Bangalore, Mysore, Belgaum, Chikmagalur and Madikeri as preferred golf tourism destinations.
The Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), which runs the train, is gearing up to launch a new marketing strategy to woo various cross sections of travellers from both India and abroad. In order to expand its scope and attract larger international travellers, the corporation is entering into a tie up with a private airline company having significant presence both in India and abroad.
State-owned Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) is increasing its inventory of rooms at some of its select hotels and is also upgrading a few others to 2-3 star category to attract more tourists. The corporation is adding another 50 rooms at its existing 16 hotels, to take the number of rooms to 150 by this August.
