| Tata Power Company (TPC), which supplies 500 Mega watt (Mw) of power to the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani (ADA) group company Reliance Infrastructure’s (R-Infra’s) distribution area in Mumbai, has decided to discontinue the supply from March 31, 2010.
Sources said TPC today officially wrote a letter on the issue to R-Infra, informing that it would support the ADA group company till March next year in the interest of Mumbai’s consumers, and help R-Infra find alternate |

| In view of increased demand due to hot weather conditions and delayed monsoon, coupled with low frequency prevailing in the Northern Grid, the Haryana Power Distribution Utilities the Dakshin Harryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) and the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) have restricted power supply to eight hours daily to the industries in the State with immediate effect. |
