Our Import Bike Of The Year is

Given that Kinetic is the only manufacturer brave enough to be looking at the larger displacement multi-cylinder fun-machines, this award would probably seem to be automatic. But it isn't.
If we didn't think the Comet was a nice bike, we wouldn't have created this award! Congratulations are due to Kinetic Engineering for daring to play the big bike game and bringing us the Comet.
We're now hoping that after the Aquila and the Comet, we get to see the 650cc Hyosungs on sale. To Kinetic's credit, they've not denied the possibility.
The Comet is a pretty sweet 250cc naked-sports bike. The rev-hungry V-twin is at home in the sporty chassis and its five-digit redline seems just right for the package. And it isn't some skinny sportsbike type either.
The Comet is big-boned, with a wide, sculpted tank, thick golden upside-down forks, fat monoshock and phat tubeless rubber. In effect, everything we'd like to see in a (relatively) small multi-cylinder machine.
And it isn't just the cycle parts. The Comet comes together as a likeable, enjoyable machine which is capable of raising smiles through the twisties and commuting through our traffic without undue stress or inconvenience. Which is why it is the
