Bharati AXA Life Insurance Company today announced that Mark Meehan will replace Tim Thomas as its Chief Operating Officer.

In a release, the company said that Meehan was working as the CEO and Director of Tynan Mackenzie, a professional investment services group under AXA Australia.

“Mark will join the core management team, managing IT and operations. His specific responsibilities will include service delivery, underwriting, project management and branch infrastructure,” the release added.

Bharti AXA Life Insurance Company Ltd is a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and global insurance major AXA. Bharati has a 74 per cent stake in the JV, while the rest 26 per cent stake belongs to AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Ltd (APH).
