India's first ever book village with more than 2 Crore Books And 25 Unique Reader Spots

    The project to promote the "culture of reading" and lure visitors, keen to spend hours on end immersed in their picks, is inspired by Britain's Hay-on-Wye, a Welsh town known for its bookstores and literature festivals.

    Twenty five locations in the village in Satara district of Maharashtra have been converted into reader hotspots making Bhilar the first ever book village in India.
