RattanIndia Power Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the Company has in its meeting held on January 11, 2018 appointed Mr. Tarun Kumar Prasad as an Independent Director on the Board of the Company to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. Yashish Dahiya, who had earlier resigned from his position as such. The current term of Mr. Tarun Kumar Prasad shall be upto the date of the next general meeting of the members of the Company whereat he shall be eligible for appointment as an Independent Director of the Company for a period of five years in one instance, with a maximum permissible tenure of two consecutive terms of five years each.
