Basirhat Violence: BJP leader asks Hindus to respond strongly

Hyderabad (Telangana), July 09 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Raja Singh on Saturday in a controversial statement asked the Hindus of West Bengal to get 'united' and come out in strong amid the prevailing violence-like situations in several areas. Holding the state Government responsible for non-safety of Hindus in the Bengal, he provoked the Hindus to respond in a way as they did in Gujarat in 2002. Hindus will be made to run away and West Bengal will be converted into a state like Bangladesh if Hindus don't fight back, the BJP MLA added. "Jis prakar Kashmir se Hinduo ko bhagaya gaya usi prakar Bengal se Hinduo ko bhaga ke Bangladesh jaisa rajya ye log bana denge. Sampradayik dange karne walo ko Gujarat ke Hinduo ne jo jawab diya, usi tarah se Bengal ke Hinduo ko jawab dene ki aavashyakta hai," the saffron leader asserted. Singh's statement comes just days after violence hit Basirhat and Baduria.
