Zee Tele net zooms 165% to Rs 45.22 cr

Zee Telefilms has reported a net profit of Rs 45.22 crore for the quarter ended June 30, up 165 per cent compared with Rs 17.07 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Total income climbed up by 71 per cent to Rs 157.88 crore (Rs 91.63 crore). Zee Telefilms along with its subsidiaries reported a 17.5 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 73.25 crore for first quarter compared with Rs 62.3 crore in the same period previous year.

The company's board recommended payment of one rupee dividend for the year ended March 31.
