"The second round of talks is being held (in New Delhi) on commercial and economic co-operation, which is part of ongoing composite dialogue.
"We are currently working on about 50 to 60 more items to be added to the list of (770) importable items from India after taking all stakeholders into confidence," a Pakistan government official told Daily Times newspaper here.
The government was not considering including diesel or other petroleum (petroleum, oil and lubricant) products in the importable items list, as India had wanted to export diesel to Pakistan, he said.
About the type of items being considered for import from India, the official said it was premature to say at the moment. However, he said, the new items would be finalised within days. The official hinted that the new items to be added to the list would be from the engineering, chemical and plastics sectors.
India has already submitted a proposal asking for the expansion of the positive list of items for more trade.
Currently, the list of importable items from India stands at 770 items according to the import policy order 2005, which had been notified, the official said.
