Claire Danes excited about parenthood

The 'Homeland' star is expecting her first child with husband Hugh Dancy and she is excited about meeting her baby, reported Daily Star.

"I'm excited about becoming a mum. It's abstract still; there's nothing much to do at this point but be healthy, incubate and take it as it comes, but I feel totally ready," she said.

In the run-up to giving birth, Danes says she will be making a lot of crafts as that's what she likes to do to relax.

"I love crafts. My parents are artists, so I inherited that from them. I draw on a lot of T-shirts and bags and I love Christmas because I get to make stockings."
