Youth shot dead
a 12-year-old boy after the former attacked his mother in Bholakehda locality in Krishnanagar area, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when one Kamal Kishore Tiwari went to buy milk from the general store owned by the boy's father Ramasrey and had some dispute with him.
The situation took an ugly turn when Tiwari entered the shop and attacked the boy's mother. The boy then fired at him with a single-barrel licensed gun of his father.
Tiwari was seriously injured in the incident and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
The police has taken the accused boy in its custody.
